Speech and Debate to Host Candidates Night

The Stow-Munroe Falls High School Speech and Debate Team will host a Candidates Night on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at Kimpton Middle School, 380 N. River Road, Munroe Falls.

Munroe Falls mayoral and City Council candidates (at-large and Ward 2) as well as Board of Education candidates are being invited to participate.

The first half of the evening will feature the Munroe Falls candidates; after a brief intermission, the focus will be on Board of Education candidates.

Each candidate will be given the opportunity to make an opening and closing statement.

There will be prepared questions and questions will also be accepted from the audience.

Refreshments will be served.

Parent Meeting / Dessert Night
Our annual Parent Meeting and Dessesrt Night will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the school library.  Dessert Night provides an opportunity for members and their families to Meet Our Squads, learn more about what Speech and Debate is all about, and learn more about the upcoming season. 
 
Each student is asked to bring a dessert to share.  And yes, you get lettering points for bringing in your dessert.
 
Parents - Get information about Judging a Speech and Debate event.  Get more information about our Boosters.
 
You don't want to miss this entertaining and informative evening.  Make plans now to attend.

New Member Meeting

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Stow-Munroe Falls High School Speech and Debate team, or to learn more about us, please attend out New Member Meeting on Friday, September 9, 2011 after school in the library.   All existing members should attend as well.
